The Waking
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
I feel my fate in what I cannot fear.
I learn by going where I cannot go.
We think by feeling. What is there to know?
I hear my being dance from ear to ear.
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
Of those so close beside me, which are you?
God bless the Ground! I shall walk softly there,
And learn by going where I have to go.
Light takes the Tree, but who can tell us how?
The lowly worm climbs up a winding stair;
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
Great Nature has another thing to do
To you and me; so take the lively air,
And, lovely, learn by going where to go.
This shaking keeps me steady. I should know.
What falls away is always. And is near.
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
I learn by going where I have to go.

Interview
Since most of us probably won't appear on Inside the Actor's Studio and be interviewed by James Lipton with his famous questions from Bernard Pivot, I'm going to post them here for you to answer. Now we can pretend we're among those who have answered these questions. (or not ... I know how you people are) :-)
1. What is your favorite word?
2. What is your least favorite word?
3. What turns you on?
4. What turns you off?
5. What sound do you love?
6. What sound do you hate?
7. What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?
8. What profession would you not like to participate in?
9. What is your favorite curse word?
10. If heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
