The Waking

I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
I feel my fate in what I cannot fear.
I learn by going where I cannot go.

We think by feeling. What is there to know?
I hear my being dance from ear to ear.
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.

Of those so close beside me, which are you?
God bless the Ground! I shall walk softly there,
And learn by going where I have to go.

Light takes the Tree, but who can tell us how?
The lowly worm climbs up a winding stair;
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.

Great Nature has another thing to do
To you and me; so take the lively air,
And, lovely, learn by going where to go.

This shaking keeps me steady. I should know.
What falls away is always. And is near.
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
I learn by going where I have to go.

The Campaign So Far

I don't like the way the Clintons are conducting her campaign. I hadn't planned to vote for her anyway, but now they are misquoting and misrepresenting what Obama said. They're being petty and mean which I don't think is appropriate for a former president. Hillary said that all three of them have spouses who support them and speak out for them; however, Michelle Obama and Elizabeth Edwards aren't lying about Hillary and were not the President. I was hoping Joe Biden could do better. I like him. Now I can't decide between Obama and Edwards. I'm tired of alternating between Bush/Clinton/Bush and don't want to continue it with her. I liked Bill but am definitely ready for someone else because now I have Clinton fatigue. She might be the nominee, but I hope not. The Republicans hope so because they know how to campaign against her. She and George W are both polarizing. They are like cats in that way since people aren't neutral toward cats but either love them or hate them. We need a dog candidate.

If Hillary becomes the candidate, I might consider voting for Michael Bloomberg if he runs as an Independent. It depends on if he is a dog candidate or not because there are many more moderates than there are extremists in each party. I'd like some unity in this country for a change.
