The Waking
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
I feel my fate in what I cannot fear.
I learn by going where I cannot go.
We think by feeling. What is there to know?
I hear my being dance from ear to ear.
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
Of those so close beside me, which are you?
God bless the Ground! I shall walk softly there,
And learn by going where I have to go.
Light takes the Tree, but who can tell us how?
The lowly worm climbs up a winding stair;
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
Great Nature has another thing to do
To you and me; so take the lively air,
And, lovely, learn by going where to go.
This shaking keeps me steady. I should know.
What falls away is always. And is near.
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
I learn by going where I have to go.

Olympic Commercials
My favorite commercial during the Olympics is Emerald Nuts. Their website is funny, too, and has the commercials on there as well as some other clever things. Have you seen these? They are hilarious. The Harley commercials are funny, too. The one with Michael Phelps swimming across the ocean isn't too bad.
The commerical I don't like is the Southwest Airlines one with the Grandfather on the phone with his grandson who points out all the times "Grampy" hasn't been there to see him. It makes me feel guilty which I can do very well on my own.
Most annoying by far (perhaps even more than that zoom-zoom car commercial) is the one about that chicken from McDonald's. Argh!!
Generally, I tune out the commercials but do enjoy a few of them. Some of them are impossible to ignore either because they are entertaining or irritating.
Which ones annoy you and do you like?
