The Waking

I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
I feel my fate in what I cannot fear.
I learn by going where I cannot go.

We think by feeling. What is there to know?
I hear my being dance from ear to ear.
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.

Of those so close beside me, which are you?
God bless the Ground! I shall walk softly there,
And learn by going where I have to go.

Light takes the Tree, but who can tell us how?
The lowly worm climbs up a winding stair;
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.

Great Nature has another thing to do
To you and me; so take the lively air,
And, lovely, learn by going where to go.

This shaking keeps me steady. I should know.
What falls away is always. And is near.
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
I learn by going where I have to go.

School

I went to school today to observe, help, and mentor. It was good to see many people I used to work with, but I had to keep explaining why I was there and that I wasn't back to teach. It's so horribly hot and humid here now that when I got in the car to come home, it felt like a sweltering oven. I had to stop at Kroger to get some groceries and nearly burned up. When I got home, I put the cold things away, changed clothes, and went to sleep! I woke up around 7:00 in a panic thinking I'd overslept and would be late for school. Then with relief, I thought it was Saturday and felt better as I went back to sleep. When I woke up again after 9:00, I realized it was Friday night. I was exhausted!!! Now I'm going back to bed.

Problem: I cannot get on my own blog! What is going on? David Dust can't use his blog because Blogger is reviewing it for some reason. Now I can't get on mine.
