The Waking
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
I feel my fate in what I cannot fear.
I learn by going where I cannot go.
We think by feeling. What is there to know?
I hear my being dance from ear to ear.
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
Of those so close beside me, which are you?
God bless the Ground! I shall walk softly there,
And learn by going where I have to go.
Light takes the Tree, but who can tell us how?
The lowly worm climbs up a winding stair;
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
Great Nature has another thing to do
To you and me; so take the lively air,
And, lovely, learn by going where to go.
This shaking keeps me steady. I should know.
What falls away is always. And is near.
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
I learn by going where I have to go.

Photos
There are some photos in the album from the birthday brunch at Ellendale's. I've edited the albums and put all of the ones of Brendan in one album and the ones of Kathy and her family together. When I get new photos, I'll put them in the New Photo album and move others around. I'd almost reached my limit of photos to put in there and had to rearrange. Enjoy! I just love the ones of Mother with the children.
It's obvious that Earl needs to give me more lessons. The background shows up really well while the people I was taking the photos of in the gazebo don't. Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time. He's also going to show me how to do more than resample and crop photos. I've learned how to do those and am ready for more knowledge.
